D.O.T.S (Drowning On The Surface Pt. 1)
Part 1
Dear mistake;
your argument was Strong,
Regrettably admiring how smoothly
You strung me along.
I heard it wasn't worth it,
Still I roll dice and lay out on the
Table all the cards I was sent to
Earth with.
Enfolding a stationary stature, my curiosity
Lead me to roam,
indecisively omitting several steps, now I'm a long way
From home.
At a significant degree conceivably they say
I mean well,
But I sense your obsolete humor with a heightened
Keen smell.
Golden tickets invade the silver linings
Encompassing my cloud,
My monumental role behind the scenes doesn't satisfy
The shy crowd.
Deliberately roped in by the gullible cattle that
Was simply branded,
Gloves off, i promised never to return
Empty handed.
Life hanging in the balance according to the
Statement from the bank,
A dissolved pledge to wade well if appointed
"Off the plank."
Large dosages of reality define the shape of
My vitamins,
These strangers brought candy why wouldn't
We invite them in.
Scavenging through the pudding to find
This proof you speak of,
What you say is an addiction I call
A simple and unique love.
Staring down dilemmas I've barely
Averted,
Cast away nettlesome diversions keeping my
Island from being deserted.
All gassed up but my pencil is shamefully
Unleaded,
I propose you open your mind so you can see
Where this is headed.

Hello fellow creators. In short I'm nothing more than a very big fan of this art form we all love called Poetry. Playing with words and thoughts, bending and twisting ideas is all part of this therapeutic yet challenging past time.
