In this place I wait
Trying to soothe
Though the pain is great
Are you sure your words don't slice
Double check them
If that isn't good enough maybe thrice
Core me as if I am an apple
If that doesn't suit roll that dice
How about this naked soul
Once more
Come on play your role
Jealousy and hate consume you
One more thrash
That should suit you
Is she not kindred enough
Maybe next time she can call your bluff
Bring daggers as you dare
Your words kill enough
This time she is no longer scared
Hate no longer resigns within
Come on tell me once more how you think it is a sin
Belittle this woman so
Keep saying guess what you'll never grow
Try and take away the only life she's created
While tossing her your mirror holding trash bags
On multiple occasions
You let her down
Almost letting them drown
She cried and held them so
As you claimed she killed them so
Dragging her feet as she fed them their meals
You still hate her so it never heals
Yet unfit you call her
Then she gave you her last breath
Hey some nights she held you to her chest
Kicking and screaming as they tore you from her very heart
Collapsing on the floor because she loved you from the start
So you fell
That is OK
I dust you off as always
Take her from me if you dare
Just remember who has always cared
No triumph there will ever reign
Because I birthed her through all that pain
Seven weeks of double shifts
Just to bring home three Christmas gifts
Touch one hair on her tiny head
A true mother's wrath you will dread
This mother has slaved to bring home her bread
Sleepless nights never with frustration
I'LL NEVER REGRET HELPING YOU THROUGH THOSE SITUATIONS
Book after book to complete the next task
Meanwhile you still hide behind that same mask
One more time please tell me how it's a sin
To fight for what's mine again and again©

Guys, I am a performer, singer, and writer. Earth has been extraordinary for me. Hiking through this place is intoxicating. Music, words, and fire feul my existance. I have two associates degrees. Completing the third is a task in it's own.
