I saw my friends struggling through life looking normally happy while deep down, their life wasn’t as perfect as they wanted
Them, strongest people I have met, held the weight of the world on their shoulders but carried their heart on their sleeves
Them, aside from parents, also taught me to not take for granted the things from my life, giving me an understanding that not everything will be easy but it will get better
Them, giving all their attention to something, while what was inside their thoughts were hurt, pain, and struggle
Them, giving all the help they could give, while receiving help from no one
Them, who came to help me for an annual harvest festival, volunteering while their problems were getting stronger
Who helped create something from the bottom while their home was crumbling to the ground
Them, picking up the heaviest object while they held the heaviest burden
With smiles on their faces, their eyes said something different
But no matter what, they kept on smiling, bringing a smile to your own face
Them, who took a deep breath, enjoying the air they breathed while having someone at home who might not get to breathe another breath in their life
Them, staring out in the distance, counting all the good things they had in life while most of them were bad
Them, not shedding a tear for everything happening to them
Them, having faith that one day everything will be like normal and will have no more troubles, will having a peaceful life
They made me have a lot more faith to believe everything will be okay.
