Crime Scene in the Next Two Decades

Coming to Terms with Childhood Historical Abuse

The house remained silent, decade after decade undisturbed

Running parallel with Saint Luke's church in the distance

My place of baptism, a child blessed by god

The house facing touched by evil

Slowly the mature terraced dwelling began to stir

Awakening

Inconsolable observing closely from the church facing, our lady the Virgin Mary begins to weep.

Slanting in shame, officially declared a crime scene

The Victorian dwelling sealed shut

Police line do not cross emblazoned upon the stone walls

Officers patrolling the quiet deserted road

Handcuffed the depraved, eyesore image of the perpetrator vacantly stares into the darkness

Historical crimes exposed, bringing light upon the victims wounded

The tightening of cuffs, searing into paralyzed flesh

Nowhere to hide, powerless to run
