Create

A New Thought

What is it to create?

To push the boundaries of one’s mind?

Or rather to pull out from one’s heart what really wants to be said or felt or seen or touched?

How can we define the limits of creation when we don’t really know what they are, or even if there are limitations?

How can we try to put the word “creation” itself in a box or a square, or cube, or however you see it? Which goes to show a prime example of creation: words, in a language also created by people like you and me.

Who are we to say that a new song isn’t creation or a new poem isn’t creation? Or a series of words that leads to a feeling or an ordering of events that leads to a moment?

Does it not mean that one must have thought about such ideas and words in order to create said new thing?

Or are we just repeating things we may have heard, seen, felt, smelled, or touched? Does it mean all the things we come across in our lives are repeats of already existing ideas?

Honestly I don’t know, but I truly believe that creation is for all people and open for interpretation.

Creation should not be limited by the pre-existence of something similar. A person such as you or I must have thoughts, ideas, and courage in order to create.

You can create, be it a painting, a drawing, a movie, a meal, or even a moment.

So don’t let anyone ever tell you, you’re not good enough to make it on any path you’d like, because you create your story to your life, not those who happen to hear it.

more than just words on a page, but feelings that I can no longer keep enclosed in the vicinity of my heart or mind.
