Contradictory

They Say That There Is A Life After Death

They say that there is a life after death,

After you take that last breath,

But then, do you really die

When your soul drip-drops by?

People always claim to believe good things,

And bring others wings,

But then they stab another's back,

Now what must that lack?

Why is everything so contradictory?

Is that how anyone achieves victory?

I don't understand why everyone says one thing,

But of another thing they sing.

Everyone wonders why I'm antisocial,

But I like to call it psycho-social.

I may be crazy,

But at least I'm not as two sided as a blue daisy.

I'd rather just talk to myself,

Or talk to the characters in the books on the shelf.

It's so much more interesting,

than things that are confusing.

Because everything is contradictory.

That's how people try to achieve victory.

I don't understand why everyone says one thing,

But of another thing they sing!
