Conspiracy Theory

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

There is a theory to every concept and it only gets confused within your mind

He speaks of aliens and government watching him…how can this be true

Although, he believes every word even though he is legally blind

Bombs are being placed as we speak yet his mind hears sounds while he sleeps

It is every day that he awakes to encounter a new experience …what will happen next

His thoughts are everywhere and yet some he holds so dear…that he keeps

How twisted can you be when a man screams Kill them all….

It is empathy that I feel from all his pain and sorrow

Never knowing he lost himself way before the fall

A piece of him still lives in the war zone and he cannot escape

He attends counseling to watch the triggers, yet this is a part of his life

He stands looking out the window beside the curtain as it drapes

Time is something that a place in which he got lost and he is still trying to find his way back home

He may never find that peaceful place so for now he switches from the real world to the war

However, it is so true that his mind may take a turn and then it may forever roam

Which ever the wind blows he is somewhere and you are here

Be patient with him…For this is not what he asked for…it was given

You have no idea of how the world he lives in can bring so much fear

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder influences so many people in the world

You never know what someone is going through so be kind

At night he can be in the bed twisting and turning or just curled

It is a disorder that affects daily life and affects thoughts of unwanted memories of the past

How can they live without reliving the event that had occurred?

It just seems as though their life is fast, yet you came in it last…
