Colors

Embrace the Rainbow

When I close my eyes, colors burst left and right, up and down, all around me.

Sometimes they blend to become a clear picture. Other times, they just separate and drift into the abyss.

I could be a rose red, feeling loved and wanting to give my love to someone or something.

I could be a navy blue, wanting to curl up into nothing and disappear from your lives.

I could be a sunny yellow, the feeling of dance reverberating through my small body.

I could be a grassy green, wanting to do nothing but kick back and relax forever.

I could also be a beautiful purple, sensuality coursing through my veins.

I could be a snowy white, my imagination high in the clouds.

Other times, I could be black, wanting to crumble up into nothingness.

I know once I open my eyes, the colors surround me, embrace me until I become what I am today.
