Collide

A Short Poem

Two hearts, two worlds, colliding under the starry night.

Every anguish and dismay replaced with amenity and warmth.

Broken smiles written on sands washed over by the splashing waves.

Their hearts beat faster, thoughts flooding their minds,

the freedom they so long awaited, caught up to them.

The collision of two hearts, set the moon, the sun, the stars and the planets in place.

It is well, it is well when two hearts collide.
