Is it just your touch?
Maybe if you stayed at the beginning
Everything would have had a different meaning!
I often think of you and your eyes so big
Oh, God I need a kick.
What is the reason I want to kiss you?
Is it just because I miss you?
What is it about me that make me think of you?
Is it just because of all I have been through?
Maybe if you say that you are sorry
We could create a different story.
I am not saying it again
My ego is in pain.
I can’t release another tear
I do not want you to hear.
My soul is not allowing new passengers today
I am not giving them even my name.
I need to move on with my life
And not being stuck on what you are like.
If I could only tell you what you mean to me
Then you will set me free.
Is the closure that I need from you
Not a dream of become something new.
I will not beg you for a new beginning
Even If everything has a different meaning.

Stuck in Place
Amy whistled as she walked through her front yard, looking for any sticks she could pick up and throw into the pile she and her brother were making. They had a big windstorm recently; as such, all the trees in their yard had suffered some damage in some loss of sticks. Or perhaps losing those sticks was a good thing since their trees probably needed to be pruned anyway. Amy wasn't sure.
