Childhood Con Artist

And with a flick of a lie, she was off...

She may have not been born a hustler,

but she grew taller as one each year with every mark on the wall.

The art of painting broad strokes of lies,

on the tirelessly pure canvas of her life.

Masterful and full of raw talent,

stealing hearts and thoughts of those all around her.

All she did was one believable charade,

raking in cash, she had it made!

Diamond rings she seemed to come by the dozen,

she could convince anyone that they were her cousin.

Twisting words and twisting meanings all around,

it was all a childhood game like on a playground.

Molding others to fit her needs,

so that they helped her proceed;

everything she did was quite an act as a matter of fact,

she knew what she was doing and was ever so exact.

If I could, I would get her a shirt that said:

BEWARE OF CHILDHOOD CON ARTIST
