Changing with the Seasons

An Intimacy Poem

Magic Moment - Robert Duval

I vie to hear the resonating melody of your voice creating a wildfire within me I want to feel everything inside. All the seasons and the elements and your dark side. Make me bloom like spring, producing dew on sakura petals and bodily pearl. Free me from the shackles of reality, the anchors of my flesh, let me be unbindable like air. Send a fever into me like summer. Let me burn under the heat of your body, a solar flare, igniting the fires of my being, stir my passions with care. Your breath a humid summer breeze upon my face. Add color to my cheeks like a kiss from the sun. Chill my skin like Autumn, creating goosebumps, a sign I feel your... everything, a sign that I am feeling alive. Alive yet grounded, like the earth from which we are made, and the soil we will someday return to. Let me fall into you as leaves fall to the sleepy grass. Lay your scent upon my skin the way we lay under blankets at bonfires. Grace me with your rare and unique beauty like a snowflake, let me melt you with my tongue. Stay this way, frozen, in a sense, the way waves are held still by the ice. Capture me between your arms the way frost embraces a tree's slumbering buds. Let the ice on your heart melt beneath my touch. As you would let my body's dew unto you, release your body's snow unto mine. Lay all your secrets bare in kisses planted upon the skin. Sow your seed within me, and I shall grow for you.... Life
