Chances for Redemption

The thoughts in my head are filled with a hundred things I could say

But my lips are sealed

Nothing would be as true as the sea of these feelings I have

As if my heart was protected by a shield

For it is wrong of me to get wrapped up

No longer shall I stand around with this ache in my heart

Within time I will heal

Of all that has happened

I have no choice but to depart

And accept that I am humble
