Breaking Habits

They say water can put out the flames, but this time flames conquer.

He told me I was so vain and asked who was the blame

I told him I'm not sure if it was my first love, last love, or my other loves that was in between

He said "you have to let go of the pain it would make you insane"

I confess to him "its too late for that my mind been crazed"

He asked me do I sleep at night? I reply "yes with my eyes open looking out the window"

He shook his head and whispered "you call that sleep well I know that's insomnia"

I yelled and said no it's closure

He tried to hold me and I had to push him away and told him don't come so close I can turn you into flames
