Poetry

Where does the evening go at night,

I close my eyes shut out the light-

and dream of someplace

far away,

but not always return

today ...

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,

blinking eye

you shine so far,

I feel no warmth,

Instead decay-

I set my demons out to play...

Floating in the Twilight Zone,

my soul is gone

so far from home,

I can't return nor

Shall I rest

I feel that I may fail

the test ...

stand at the door and get so high,

I Fly Above the wonder why -

I wonder what my spirits say?

the devil's have come home today...

Throw a penny in the well,

light a candle -

chant the spell,

break a mirror ,

cast it down-

time to make another round ...

breathe in,

breathe out -

then go away,

there is nothing more

to say -

Except my friend,

you cannot stay-

and I can't come ...

...so far away...
