"in the realm of real or truthful"

A ghost disguised by tombstone shaped rows of white, hiding beneath full lips, pretty hair and thrift store sweaters made me think there was such a thing as honesty when I asked her to be honest with me.

She said, "Okay. I promise I won't disappear. If I don't want to continue this anymore I'll tell you."

This is what she meant...

I will respond to your messages in a timely manner for a time as you respond to mine, which is fair. In a month though, I'll start to leave you on open consistently, ironic cause inconsistency should honestly be my middle name.

I will send you pictures of me, bored at work seeking of your stimulation, until I'm bored of you and your stimulation. Surprise there's stipulation's to this "friendship."

I will laugh with you, I will kick it with you when you ask me to and I'm not busy or you are the only option readily available to receive my false affection—you give such genuine affection, it fills me.

Boy you are so silly, in the way you make me laugh. Boy you are so silly in the way you think I actually care bout' cho' ass—pass... the tree.

I will smoke you out anytime I’ve got it— You know I’ve always got it, all I do is roll joints, I get busy with the papers and I’m a pro with the homemade tips— pro tip: Free ganja will make it hard for you to hate me. (Facts)

I think you’re so nice dude, but I will pick and choose when I see relevance in you. I will kiss you when I want to feel desired, I will hug and hold you, when the cold of alone, becomes to frigid to bare. I will seek asylum in the coves of your embrace, warm as the pelt of a bear.

But don't take this serious. Yes I said I feel compelled to do the most, to keep those close, close. But you weren’t even close…to being close to me.

So you see? You were just someone to me…never something to me.

I didn't ghost you...

She was never there.
