I work, I sweat, I rage in the daily
To struggle for only a crumb of worth.
I go about my job simply gaily,
So looking for purpose on this, my Earth.
Hammer to sword and steel into the flame,
Unceasing, ever I am to improve
Myself until I grasp my great acclaim.
Bystanders waiting for me to disprove.
But opportunities lie not in wait
Held out of reach by Capitalist Hand.
For how long will they escape their next fate?
Perhaps it is time that we take a stand.
How much longer must we still be oppressed?
Until we are equal I will not rest.
