C.F.C (Cause For Concern)

A Poem

Brainstorming how to clear our

Minds,

Having No backbone will backfire, you should fear our

Spines.

Must we play chicken to find out what's the beef with

Pork?

How about we consider what we can stomach before we tease

The fork?

Leave the message in the bottle but release the

Cork,

We believe that we were born to fly and to appease the

Stork.

This world can be quite breathtaking, who needs oxygen?

The jaws of Life couldn't chew through these locks we're

In.

Let's also extend an invitation to the sunshine in case the

Snow flakes,

Can we consistently keep our feet on the gas with

No breaks?

If this is Hell let's hope we're just passing through,

They say we've raised enough questions but who's asking

You?

Oblivious of our next stop once the trains arrived,

We should still qualify as egg heads even if our brains are

Fried.

Or do you prefer it all be over easy, perhaps all of our minds

Are scrambled,

We were promised a "Rundown", but can we avoid being

Trampled?

Not every swim fan deserves the right to sit

Poolside,

Not every dreamer has decided to flip their pillow to the

Cool side.

If looks could kill would you make it to our

Trial?

When offered to pepper this grain of salt should we take it with a

Smile?

Soon your wants and our needs will learn to

Coincide,

There's a slight difference between the ones who scratch the surface and

The ones that go inside.

Helping an enslaved conscious escape the clutches of an old

Blotter,

So many tales of dry wells whose exaggeration actually holds

Water?

Deemed a cause for concern they wonder if we do rest,

but being your cause for concern is what we do best.
