What does ‘C’ mean to me?

What is it I can see?

Is it the towering of the ocean wave,

Threatening to crush those who misbehave?

Is it the centre of a musical piece,

So beautiful to me it’ll never cease?

Is it a word for our eyes to meet,

Something in the distance yet never complete?

Is it part of the beach to cool down,

Where those who go appear to drown?

Is it just one of twenty-six,

One of many in a larger mix?

To me there is only one meaning of ‘C’,

Only to be known by me.
