Buttons of Love?

We enchanted each other with our eyes,

and then with happy smiles.

The love button turns on with a kiss,

and then months go by with ease.

Then...you tell me I'm not the one,

and you turn off the button giving me harm.

You leave me here, trying to move on.

And when I finally can...you come back into my life,

looking for a "reset" button in this love line.

"Does that even exist?" Didn't dare ask myself,

just pressed it right ahead...

Now we are here from love to nothing again,

but we'll just keep pressing "reset" tear after tear,

"on", "off", then "reset",

buttons of love that created a circle with no end.
