But... Why?

It might be a poem. It might be a mental breakdown. No one knows.

Have you ever sang a song and felt it in your soul?

Have you ever done something with such passion it altered your perception of life?

How about some one?

Interesting…

Do you still dream about it?

Do you dance your fingers across flat surfaces and imagine contours?

Mountains

Valleys

Hills

Hips

Lips

Hands

Blankets

strings

Buttons

Toggles

Keys

Have you ever done something you didn’t think your body could?

Danced to a song you’ve never heard and hit every beat?

Seen something mundane in a whole new light

Suddenly it’s the thing you were looking for?

Have you ever contemplated a blank wall?

Gotten lost in the labyrinth of your own mind?

Have you ever invited your demons out for tea?

They usually have some valid points.

Do you ever forget what you’re fighting for?

Do you ever forget what your body looks like?

Do you ever misplace your limbs?

A foot where it shouldn’t be,

A mouth running off with your ears again,

A hand finding somewhere its not aloud,

A brain floating away to the clouds?

Do you ever spin?

Without moving?

Are you ever aware that the earth is hurtling around the sun and spinning like a merry-go-round?

Have you ever fallen in love with a stranger?

Have you ever fallen in love with yourself?

Only to fall out of it again?

Never mind.
