Busy

A Poem I Wrote in Under Three Minutes

Distracted

Only ever distracted by you, never sustained, never for long

Temporary relief

I wish you would ask me how my day was

Where did I go?

Have I cried less today than I did yesterday?

You don't ask and I don't mention it

I wish I could mention it

It's not important

Late night trips to grab anything that'll keep me busy

A pack of cards

I really shouldn't be buying a pack of cards

But I need to be distracted
