Burn

Poem

The flames licked up my skin,

I felt the burn deep within,

Filling me up,

Breaking me down,

It will always be around,

Like the charred remains of a long forgotten flame.

I will burn on and on,

From dusk till dawn,

Until the sun dies,

Will I stop,

I won't drop,

Love never lasts.

Revenge always comes back,

One day you will see the bitterness in me,

Come here,

Come near,

And join my flame,

Come here,

Burn with me dear.

Murder me,

Put me under a tree,

You already killed my dreams,

The passion and desire fade,

Like the sunset of an old day,

Revenge will hit you like a stake,

I will bring you to your grave,

Burn you into my skin,

Consume you into me,

Full of venom and hate,

Revenge is burning red hot,

You made your bed,

And now you are dead.

Now you'll forever burn with me.
