Broken Trust
Putting back the pieces slowly.
She was born beautiful and innocent, until the first man she had ever loved broke her heart
He left her in this world cold and grey
But she grew up anyway
She learned to love men but never the same way she loved him
These men just broke her down every time and she was left to pick up the pieces, that's what you get for trusting so easily
So now she is cold hearted and filled with pain
All because she gave her heart to the wrong men and put faith in them
Only to be spit out and chewed up again
Now she sits and waits and hopes that one day, there will be a man to take that pain away
Until then, please just stay away

Just Sixty Seconds
Oliver sat at a cold, grey steel-covered table. He knew he was next. The longer he sat here, the more confident he knew he wouldn’t make it. His hands were tied to the chair he was sitting on, pushed up against the steel table. A small camera in the corner of the ceiling with a tiny red flashing light was the only thing he was focused on. He felt sick to the stomach. He knew he didn’t have long.
