Broken Home

What is a family anyways?

A close family

In a broken home

With a daughter trying to be happy

In a messed up storm

The mother is strong

As her mind never sleeps

And the father is quiet

Because caring would mean to speak

The days pass

And the nights stay

When there is time to laugh

It always goes to waste

The mother keeps trying

Until she gets too old

And the father keeps causing

He wants to live alone

What can a daughter do

When she has hurt and suffered so much

But to only hope and pray

That things will stop being so tough
