Broken Heart

You are my heart, only you are not in reach. I have fought for what we both want, but you dismiss it as if its not true. My sleepless nights are of needing you, yet you lay with another. You ask me to play along only I am in pain every time you follow it through.

How can you not see what it does to me. I have to hide it away yet you say you love me. How can I be yours if you can not hear your heart, without you my heart burns for what we can't show. You leave me on the verge of hope, yet you hold it in front of me as if you are bound only to her. How can I stand by and allow for my heart to break, while you can't not hear your heart.

I allow to keep hope, yet I watch you ignore it as if it wasn't true. I want no pain or heart break but I will always suffer through it for you. My heart is yours even if you don't see it, even if it means I have to give up on what I hope most for. I just hope one night as I lay there in the silence, you would join me with your heart. I fear that you will no longer see what is in front of you, until its to late.

I will always love you, only you are bound to another. You hold her close as if she was me, but in every way I am in the silence waiting for what your heart can not see. I fear that when you do see it it will be to late, for I lay in silence as you stand before me with a heart of pain knowing you are the cause of my pain. My heart is and always be yours only it will be for ever broken, so as you lay and hold another know I am there next you haunting your heart as a burden.

I will lay in the silence until you come and join me with your heart, even if it means I will only be a broken heart at your side. Time is all I have but soon it will be to late for you to see that your heart isn't hers, only who will hold your broken heart.
