I’m Breaking down the hold that has been oh, so strong,
It has caused insecurities and self-esteem within me to fold;
Breaking down the hidden snares living behind the cold stares,
That can’t stand you being outside the faking and shaking mold.
I’m Breaking down, Breaking Down your hold,
I know I’m saved and free to be me.
I’m Breaking down the lies as they continue to be foretold,
That was moving forward to cause hinderance to my soul,
Trying hard to take away my faith and self-control;
Telling you they know how to propel you to your goal.
I’m Breaking down, Breaking Down your hold,
I know I’m saved and free to be me.
I’m saved by faith, so you won’t succeed;
Your tactics will fail, because mustard seeds are growing deep inside me;
Standing stronger now every day, your fake mold roles are revealed; I can now see,
Loosing no more self-esteem; soaring to newer heights where I only decree.
I’m Breaking down, Breaking Down your hold,
I know I’m saved and free to be me.
I’m Breaking down, breaking down your cycles of deceitful hold,
I know I’m saved and free to be unapologetically me.
I’m Breaking down, breaking down your hold,
I know I’m saved and born to be free. -RLE(C )1/2019
