I am me
perfectly so, I am free
full of energy
set ablaze, the fire within me
I am Brand New
Positive within
I am just beginning
Journey far
I am willing, awake energized
I am brand new
Faith, love
adventure, risks
no obstacle is too large
I shall take charge
today I see a rainbow
And I will find a leprechaun's gold
my confidence is regaining strength
Today I am Brand new
I am me
No more sad songs
Melodic, and Upbeat
Self Confident, no more down
We are Victorious, we are free
Because today
we are paving a new road
we are brand new.
This is our new truth.

Inshallah
Istanbul is a city bristling with life, a place where past and present, sacred and profane, intertwine under the watchful gaze of the Sultan Ahmet Mosque. As I explore this crossroads of cultures with Maya, my nine-year-old niece and the daughter of my late brother-in-law Frank, and my wife Nadia, Frank's sister, I find myself on a journey not just through Istanbul's history, but also into the depths of my own beliefs.
