Boy

The boy in the window

The Boy in the window.

Is looking for you

He cries

He hurts

From the pain, you inflicted on him

The boy in the window

Looks familiar to the man in the mirror

Look at your boy

He tries to reach for you

But you are too quick, and turn him away.

Raindrops hit his window.

The water runs down like his tears

On his soft cheek

The boy in the window

Is trying to have hope.

But the man

In the mirror just laughs.

But soon the boy in the window will fade

And the man in the mirror will slowly see himself

Get old and alone

He cries

He hurts

But the boy in the window is gone.

The rain has stopped

The boy is free

The sun will now guide the boy

He laughs

He smiles

In time the man in the mirror will be a memory,

Lost in the wind.

But the boy will live forever.
