Born This Way

I never wanted to be a girl, I always wanted to be a boy

I felt uncomfortable looking like a girl when I just wanted to be a boy.

My mother never said no, she was able to comprehend

that even tho i was a girl...all of my manners were from a boy.

As i got older i figured out that I was a bi-sexual girl

I was honest and told my mother that I like girls and no the other.

She stayed quiet for a moment to absorb what I had just said, and

as I waited for a slap, she pulled my closer and hug me then.

I was relieved after i told her...now I don't have to hide it away,

I am free and I am content, now I can live and not be afraid.

There's a lot of young people that have been pushed and thrown away

because their parent would not accept the choice of life that they have made.

everyone says it's not God's will for us to choose to be this way

and they all talk and judge us all... but tell me , who are they to say?

A lot like me have died... and most of them have kill themselves

for being denied the right to be the one person we want you to see.

Why don't you let us be, why keep on fighting against us?

we are not criminals, can you see? so tell me how my feelings

would hurt you.

And for those kids that killed themselves, because their parents

didn't like their way

I blame society, because of them... parents just

pushed their kids to the end.
