Blue Wasteland

What if autism vanished?

The sky's color, no longer in existence

The world no longer seen as a puzzle

Autism faced prehistoric reptile fate

Because of those so too scared to even think.

We spread awareness and acceptance

Our marks fade away.

We were people before,

Nothing was wrong before.

So why can't our blue minds just stay?

Sure, we seemed strange,

Sure, we're awkward,

Sure, we stay on self-interests all day.

The difference is puzzles are lifeless

'Cause their souls were all chased away.

There might be rare happy faces

Yet those with optimism might see

What of Einstein, what of Grandin,

But most of all, what of me?

I'm not the most sophisticated adult out there. I'm also not the best at communicating all the time, but I do try my best to get my thoughts out there into the world verbally or nonverbally.
