Blossoming
For you to feel as you feel right

I sat gazing at a rose this morning
Of form so divine.
The leaf fell sensually over the rigid stem
So fawningly winking at me
Inviting me forward.
So I sat and looked and gazed all day
At the erotic flame
Whose brimmed scarlet lips blew kisses at my quivering heart.
Although her beauty sprung out
Like a diamond among pebbles
It was forced to give up my heart
To a picture I saw…
A picture of a true blossom
Of encompassing eyes and oaken hair
Whose toothy glint shamed the sun in radiance
And silky skin shut silver thoughts.
And it was after my mind was lost forever
That I realised the picture;
Well the picture was of you.
