Bloody Bones

Poem about the history of war

Here lies the history of war.

A devastation behind every door.

Battle scenes from yesterday.

Know exactly when to play.

The battlefield is covered in bloody bones.

Here lies the message of pain.

A lesson it wants to teach again and again.

It's used mankind for its own worth.

Manipulating us from birth.

Until it creates bloody bones.

Here lies the aftermath of doom.

I'm surprised Heaven still has the room.

The dead outweigh the living.

And still there is forgiving.

We are descended from bloody bones.
