Blind Love

When I Was Loving You

When I was busy loving you...you were loving someone else.

When I was thinking about "us", you were thinking about you.

When I stayed up worried those nights you didn't come home,

you were between a bitches thighs unapologetic,

When I told you I loved you...you smiled and said me too.

I gave you my heart, my mind, my soul, my body I loved you.

I invited you into a place I didn't want no one else,

While I was sharing my universe with you...you were focused on a falling star.

I defended you when I was warned about you,

I loved you even though you were unlovable,

I cared for you even though you didn't even know me,

I carried your seed inside me multiple times... instead of watching it bloom you destroyed it like a weed in your garden,

My tears became oceans and instead of drying them you swam through them as if it was a pleasure to see me in pain,

You showed me who you were a thousand times and I still looked for thousands of reasons more to ignore who you really were.

Love is truly blind...sometimes by ignorance but mostly by choice.

I loved you but while I was loving you...you were loving someone else.
