Blind

Silent and Confused...

By Alicia EastonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Sitting alone in silence,

Lost and confused,

I look into myself.

I must be blind:

How can I still see the world around me,

but not the inside?

I see materialism, lifeless objects.

Nothing is felt from deep within my soul.

I don’t remember who I am,

Who I am supposed to be,

Where I came from,

What I am to do.

I’m crazy.

My inside has been locked up,

Screaming,

Lost, unable to be reached.

Look inside-

Do you see anything?

Nothing but locked doors,

Bordered up windows,

Deserted, confused,

Lost.
