The standard of the beholder

Lines lines lines

White chalk screeching

The standard has been set

We accept no further, no nearer than this

Many shades of skin

One shade to look like

Many types of eyes

Defined in only one way

Written on and cleaned

So many times, it has lost its meaning

Lines are dots only

All of which are not alway congruent

Each point representing a line that could have been

Or was...

Despite this being an age-old fact,

This blackboard of beauty

Shows no signs of being wiped.
