I want something real. You can have everything else.

being a player is played out

i don’t see the joy in

bragging about how many

people you’ve slept with

i hope you were wearing some protection

AIDS ain’t something to boast about

i don’t see the joy in being with females

who only wanna smash and nothing else

that gets annoying

i’m no plaything

being a player is played out

i don’t want to go to the club and

throw money at those dancers,

they don’t deserve it

they didn’t help me earn my check

now did they

who wants to keep saying sexually degrading words

they’re just words, but the connotation they bring?

that’s a talk we can have for another poem

being a player is played out

i can be a lame because i’m not a manwhore

i can be a lame because i had the

audacity to turn down some cat

i can be a lame because i want a relationship and not a sexationship

i know my worth, i want to save it for someone who

can look past my exterior and provide me with unconditional affection

polygamy not advancing my career,

i’ve been exposed by these demons too many times

so you won’t see another photo from me ever again

if you ever saw me there, you can’t roast me

savage writer is too A1 for your understanding but

being a player is played out

why did society make it uncool to show a woman affection

why did society commodify the abuse of women

does it sell

does it pique your interest

does it make you want to tear up the club

literally

being a player is played out

i can say all this, okay

none of ya’ll will listen

i can say all this, okay

you’re still going

to do what you want

so

being a player is played out
