But do you know how many times she cried herself to sleep at night?

Do you know that you were the main source of the pain?

Do you know that because of you she never saw herself the same way?

Do you know that because of you she couldn't function?

She doesn't believe anyone

She refuses to believe people are good

She doesn't know when someone is being genuine and when they're using her

She doesn't know anything anymore

You killed her

You called her stupid, made her feel insecure and small

You compared her to everyone else

You manipulated her

Congratulations, you're a murderer!

But what do you care?

She was nobody to you, she was just your toy

A trial, a test run

She wasn't a person, just an object

But she grew and learned from her mistakes

She knows you're the worst

She knows you couldn't see her for who and what she was

She now knows she's powerful and beautiful

She knows you were intimidated

She knows you're a liar

You try to make yourself look good

You try to make it all about you, try to play victim

But where were you when she was falling apart?

Where were you when she didn't have the strength or energy to do anything?

You were laughing and calling her out

You didn't take her seriously, you didn't understand her

You didn't try to understand her

You didn't do anything for her, except destroy her

So who are you to decide who and what she is?

Besides being that stupid boy she let in?

Besides being the one that made her believe in herself more than she could believe in anyone else?

You're terrible, but maybe she's worse..

Worse because she believed all your words

She believed you loved her when you used her pain against herMaking her believe that was love..

Believing it was the love she deserved...

All the times you made her feel guilty, but in reality you're the one with the guilt eating away at your heart

You're the past and she's looking towards the future

So, some of you may think this is about my ex but I swear it's not. I grabbed my laptop the other day and just started typing, I couldn't stop. I don't know what came over me. This came out, I revised it and made it sound a little better. I'm still not very proud of it, it's been years since I've written something like this. I hope you guys enjoyed it.
