When you hit 21, you realize a lot of things
You realize you were happy all along
You hate yourself for living life the way you did
You punish yourself and drink pint after pint
When you drink yourself away you stop feeling so alone
Jack and cigarettes are your only friends
Because everyone's tired of you always being drunk
No one invites you places anymore because you just look so sad
You do your make up and whiten your teeth
You wear promiscuous things and hope someone will see
No one ever gets to see the beauty underneath
