Beauty
This flower so familiar
With yesterday's roots and tomorrow's petals
Underneath the sun of all the todays
which surround it.
To reach above, always
for that which has never been touched or found
for now that I may not pass over this rose
In the spring's awakening, in its splendor
From the sleeping winter
Dressed in bliss of autumn's full bloom
and summer, kissed by morning dew.
