Beauty in My Eyes

At sunset, I sleep on the beach

I wake up to wildflowers

In a meadow, bathed in moonlight

A rainbow of colors surrounds me

I love the sound of rain at night

It helps me sleep when I cannot

The clouds slowly move across

The sky with the breeze

A waterfall reflects the sky

A painting of red, purple, and pink

A horse drinks from the cool water

Its coat gleams in the setting sun

The warmth of hugs when I'm lonely

The laughter and smiles of my friends

The sparkle of one's eyes in their happiness

The teasing glimmer in my best friend's eyes

There is beauty in everything around one's self

Beauty in nature; beauty in the home

Beauty in the beholder's eyes
