Beautiful Memory

There once was a time when we were closer then ever,

If you look in my eyes and feel it with your heart, maybe you'll remember.

When you and I were to dream together for the night,

Being in your arms had never felt so right.

As I was once cold, I had always been so, always in this form,

But you holding me close to your heart, I had never felt so warm.

You went further away so you could fall asleep,

You wanted to feel colder but this warmth I wanted to keep.

You gently woke me to hold you, you colder then I,

For the first time I was warm and you were cold and I held you close to my heat without hesitation, without asking why.

Such a breakthrough I felt that in my life that is what I miss,

So natural with you that I could get used to this.

No stronger love I've ever felt sweeter then we,
