Beatae Memoriae
In Blessed Memory to Those Who Have Passed Away All Alone

I silently departed this world, leaving my family behind
Slipping silently away, making my sharp exit perfectly timed
Alone in life and isolated in death
I reached out for you, to have you near
Unable to grasp your warm hand, to calm my final fear
I was never perfect in life, I admit
But I loved you all so very dear
Accepting finally the great hand of fate
Allow my spirit to perpetuate
Take my lonely shell that remains from this place that I now repose
Free my spirit, trapped within the intense cold air
Leaving me in permanent darkness without a care
My shadow lingers upon the walls of this cool mortuary chamber
My teardrops have frozen and turned to ice
I want to go home now to god's paradise
Acquiesce and now lay me to rest
