Bad Days

Soul-Destroying Entities

Bad days, everyone has them but not everyone understands them.

Waking up facing Vulnerability and getting up greeting Anger to then walk out of your room to see Sadness having breakfast with Depression and Anxiety.

Shouting at Thoughts to turn the volume of the tv down as the excessively chaotic noises are making you go insane not to mention Ed and how many times you told him to eat something otherwise he’ll not function properly and how you always tell eD, Ed’s twin, to talk to you about his problems and emotions as food isn’t going to fill up all that void crumbling his insides. Yet they’re still ignoring you.

But you know that the worst is yet to come. In fact, just as you finish convincing Self-Confidence that hiding isn’t worth it, the door bell rings and surprise!!! Mr. Loneliness comes in without permission and makes his way to the room where you’re standing in, to then follow you throughout the day, and no matter how many entities are around you, when he’s there everything disappears, along with the image of a different life surrounded by Happiness. Because truth is, you know that Happiness is engaged, meaning there’s no possibility of you two getting together. Yes, you walk past him sometimes, maybe even get a greeting from him, but you know that waking up every morning wishing to be his isn’t gonna happen any sooner. So, losing hope, you just sit down at the dull table that you prepared earlier on, along with Mr. Loneliness, waiting for that someone who promised would come visit but never mentioned when: Death.
