Awoken

Be yourself and let things be as they are!

Once again...

I've walked through a windy wayward path

after all I've been through; sometimes it feels like...

I walk alone in the aftermath of the overlords wrath

to come back around too this little farming town...

I walk alone, I live like tomorrow will be the last...

I'm not afraid of that much, I work hard for the weekend...

I live like nothing in this world can break me down

yet I know, yes I know without knowing...

after all I've seen nothing really phases me anymore!

I'm not the persecution alienated God complex

yet I see from the eye of the tornado

life seemed too spin around in a vortex

I always wanted too keep life simple

yet life doesn't always go as we intended

I'm not the stigma of this small town

I am the valleys and the rolling hills

still in time, wandering around aimlessly

wondering about life and the unknown

as life just simply goes the way it goes

a trial and error... is all I've ever known

I linger around here and somewhere out there...

somewhere between reality and allusion

too be one of the divine, is too be or not too be

the truth flows between reason and faith...

I am a mind body and soul with the heart of a free-spirit

someone always feels like we're running out of time

when we have all the time in the world

running against the clock, in need of a reason for a rhyme

I can go in-depth in the starlight, I am rooted

while reaching for the sunlight at dawn, rustling in the trees

I am the lightning crashing, lighting up the night sky

I am the gusty winds of a storm, it happens so naturally

yet still in time, in a cool calm misty morning breeze...

I am howling under the crimson moon full of life

I know all the lies the world invents

not focused on that...

too much or not enough of this or that

less is more,

yet not quite enough it seems

nothing in this world

is ever truly free

yet the best things in life are free

all this compromising for a conflict resolution

contemplating various ideas for a concrete solution

the truth can not be reckoned with, as for natural forces

I am my own creation, a figment of my own self-image...

with guidance from various unknown sources

life can make me or break me, it's all on me...

A beautiful war?

there is no beauty in war...

...all for nothing and nothing for all...

yet she was right... in the end, it is beautiful...

...I will save the last dance for the richest in soil...

all I ask of you... is too not be afraid

too believe in me as I believe in you

too be as you are...

I'm not keeping track of every breath I take

count your blessings always and forevermore...

from one life too the next I will always strive

for those moments that take my breath away

Wake up in the morning grateful to be alive?

changes are needed wherever I go

I am here too inform and transform

when we simply let everyone be as they are

what will be will be, as it is meant too be

you just be you and let me be me

I am as free with you as you are with me

too love one self is too simply love thyself

all these folks waiting too go too a better place

instead we can make this world a better space

too forgive one self is too forgive the world

pay no mind too dogma, we can't deny the truth

when love means more than words, the silence says it all

need nor too say no more, nor say much less...

I look out for number one. I'm a poet, lyricist and a vocalist. I aspire to write and inspire others as much as possible. abstract, random assertive personality, yet sometimes the silence says it all. I'm an Idealist and an Opportunist.
