Delusion

As the passage of time leaves it’s imprint on every event

benighted the law and order of what societal standard quotes

fearing knowing who i am and as this life is been nibbled away

and in it precarious state

i was taken in by the fallacious nine days wonder

now i am upto neck, i think

for i am celebrated

that is not enough, then i thought is this me or another splash of paint of society staking a tag of ownership on a live that’s mine alone to live

Wanting to leave it at that

For it is mind boggling to think just who i am

I lived on in this fallacious world

To a nicety at a time the fervour to be celebrated

That is nowhere near me

Alas!!!

It was this, now i found my soul

This ascendancy i want to pass off now

For then the destroyer of pleasure is near

Isn’t it too late

However, i still want to live believing it is not too late

For my lord is oft-forgiving.
