A Fib of Strength
Move On, From those That heartbreak. It may be quite tough But only true lovers win you. *** A Fib is a style of poem that writes with syllables according to the Fibonacci sequence, which follows as: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, etc. Each successive line contains the sum of syllables from the previous two lines. A Fib usually contains six lines, showcasing the conciseness of the poet's word choice and language. A Fib can be written over more lines, but the length of the poem containing only six short lines is long enough to portray meaning, but short enough to memorize for sharing with others. Other mathematical and unique poetry styles include the nonet, the haiku, the blitz, the interlocking Rubaiyat, and more.
