You're Your Home
You meet someone who glows with a lightAnd they'll warm a place in your heart with a fire so bright. But if it's ignited by someone who only stayed to share a spark, When they leave, you might feel like you've been plunged into the dark. You think you've never felt so empty and so filled with echo,Yet you're still breathing like you did before they came and like you will after they go.A tree separated from its dead branches, you'll blossom from your stem,Your strongest pieces are everything they couldn't take away with them.Don't consider yourself homeless if they leave, their absence will help you grow. You are your own first home and your own first love and that's what you need to know.

A Woman's Embody
As a child, they told meThat he is stronger than she.Now as a woman, I've learnedThat they thought they were telling me the truth but they weren't.He might be strong enough to bear my body on top of his bodyBut he doesn't know how to hold what a woman embodies. He neglects the tears, tenderness, and time she invests into him because returning no emotion is a male attribute; He wasn't taught that seeds express their appreciation by giving back fruit. And he loves the taste of her forbidden fruit,But his mouth is closed when she says that she loves him. A woman can stand tall without him though, if her roots are grounded, she can nurture herself and others with the strength in her limbs.
