A Personal Legend and How It Affects Its Seeker
According to Paulo Coelho, a “Personal Legend” is the calling that every individual has; one that is the highest accomplishment in their life. The protagonist of The Alchemist, Santiago, changes as a result of taking this journey by not only learning about himself in every step of the way, but the universe as well. This change often occurs when a person abandons one life for another, discovers what their Personal Legend is, takes risks and experiences obstacles and learns from these experiences, continuously improving beyond their search.

Blood Spatter (Prose Poetry)
There's something endlessly fascinating about how those familiar specks of red shoot across the sky, like the shooting stars that speeds past the eyes of an innocent child. We know it to be immoral -- sinister, perverse pleasure in taking something's purity, then tainting it with the dry, croaked laughs of the deranged and blinding it in liquid fear.
