The Doctor Swept My Pain Under the Rug
If it weren't for Facebook, I wouldn't have remembered that today was my six year anniversary of the day I almost died. Actually, that's a lie, I knew it was coming up. I just didn't quite remember the day. Maybe it's because I don't see it as a big deal anymore, or maybe it was so traumatic that I just don't want to think about. Honestly, I think it's a combination. You can't go through something like that and not have some type of traumatising effect, and I'm so happy and grateful that I'm still here, that I'm thriving; that maybe it's not such a big deal.

Could Newt Be Hagrid's Father?
As I was re-watching Fantastic Beasts and Whereto Find Them, it struck me just how similar Hagrid and Newt seem to be. Jacob cowering behind a beaming and reassuring Newt as a massive and seemingly dangerous creature appears. So had Harry and his friends done with Hagrid. His father's name was never mentioned in the books or movies, just that he was short; not only in comparison to his giantess wife and half giant son, but by human standards as well. In fact, we get an okay idea of what Hagrid's father looked like in Chapter 24 of Goblet of Fire:
